The First Gift Card Store Built for AI

Open the Claude menu (top menu bar on macOS, taskbar on Windows) → Settings → Developer → Edit Config

Config file location:
macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

Add the following to your config file:

Save the file and restart Claude Desktop. You'll see a tools icon in the chat input.

Open your terminal and run the following command:

claude mcp add --transport http coingate-gift-cards \
  https://mcp.eu.algolia.com/1/xe5UKTfUQlyUr3Hs4nkiiA/mcp

Or manually add the server to your ~/.claude.json config file.

The MCP server will be available in your next Claude Code session.

Choose global setup (all projects) or per-project setup:

Config file location:
Global: ~/.cursor/mcp.json
Per-project: .cursor/mcp.json in your project root

Add the following JSON to your chosen config file:

Restart Cursor. You can also add servers via Cursor Settings → MCP → Add Server.

Make sure you have GitHub Copilot or a compatible MCP extension installed.

Create (or open) .vscode/mcp.json in your project root and add:

Reload the VS Code window. The MCP server will appear in your Copilot tools.
