From Gościeradz to Smukała, the river is wide and sunny, and its current is slow. On the banks there are places for swimming and sandy slopes. Along the way, two portages await at the hydroelectric power plants in Tryszczyn and Smukala. The next 6 km of the river resembles the section in Bory Tucholskie. The route is faster, narrower and more shaded. From the Hypszera (Kamienna) bridge, the river joins the Bydgoszcz Canal and slows down considerably. The prettiest urban section begins. On the Mill Island there is a possibility of sluicing and another portage appears. The next part of the rafting trip is a visit to the Venice of Bydgoszcz. From the Pomorskie Bridge (Tesco), the river turns into more wild and inaccessible to pedestrians.
