Upgraded Payouts: Send Crypto in Any Currency, from Any Balance

We’ve just released significant improvements to crypto payouts (also known as the “Send” feature). 

You can now send crypto payouts using any balance you hold, and CoinGate will automatically convert and deliver the funds in the specific cryptocurrency your recipient prefers, based on their provided wallet.

Say Goodbye to Manual Currency Conversions

Previously, sending funds in a specific cryptocurrency required holding that exact asset in your account. Now, that limitation is gone. 

With our new update, you can:

• Select any recipient with a preferred cryptocurrency wallet (e.g., TRX).
• Enter the amount to send in EUR.
• Choose any balance you hold (e.g., BTC).
• Review the payment details and pay
• Let CoinGate handle the conversion and delivery of the final amount in the recipient’s desired currency.

Crypto payouts are available both via your account dashboard and the API (refer to the API documentation for more info).

How It Works – a Quick Example

Let’s say you need to pay a contact who only accepts TRX. You hold BTC, and you want to send them the equivalent of 5 EUR. 

First, navigate to the ‘Payouts -> Send payment’ menu section and:

1. Select the recipient – Their wallet accepts TRX.

2. Choose your balance – Pick, for example, BTC as the source of funds.

3. Set the amount – Enter, for example, 5 EUR and the conversion amount will be calculated.

4. Enter the purpose of transfer – This step is mandatory.

5. Click ‘Review payment’ and finalize it – We’ll automatically convert BTC to TRX based on EUR value and deliver it to the recipient’s wallet.

No need to manually convert BTC to TRX first. We take care of it—all in one seamless flow. Note that the currency conversion fee is 1%.
