The inception of the Digital UA Soldiers project was a creative response to the declining rate of donations, a natural occurrence as the war in Ukraine protracted. 

As Karolis mentioned, “…people are getting used to it, so the rate of donations is decreasing…The Digital UA Soldiers project adds game elements to fundraising, as well as creating virtual incentives for donors – everyone can have their own named virtual soldier on the map of Ukraine. And this support turns into real things for Ukrainian soldiers.”
