CoinGate Integrates Base: A Fast, Cost-Effective Ethereum L2

We’re excited to announce that our team has integrated Base Network, a prominent Ethereum Layer 2 (L2) solution, into our payment platform. 

This expansion allows merchants to accept USDC and ETH payments via Base, offering customers a faster and more cost-efficient way to pay. Additionally, Base Network can now be used for deposits, payouts, and refunds.

Why Base Network?

Base is designed to enhance Ethereum’s scalability while maintaining its robust security. Similar to other L2 networks like Polygon and Arbitrum, Base leverages optimistic rollups to bundle transactions off-chain.
